Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Jackson Hole

    You'll fly into Jackson Hole and head to the Rustic Inn, a luxury lodge set on seven acres right next to the National Elk Refuge and just a short walk from town. The property has a heated pool and Jacuzzi if you want to unwind, plus landscaped trails for walking around. Before dinner with the group, there's time to settle in and relax.

  2. Day 2

    Jackson Hole

    After breakfast, the Big Red aerial tram takes you up Jackson Hole Ski Resort for high elevation hiking with Grand Teton views. You'll hike Casper Ridge through wildflower meadows, then ride the gondola back down. Lunch comes next, followed by whitewater rafting on the Snake River Canyon. The day ends with dinner at a local restaurant in Jackson.

  3. Day 3

    Grand Teton to Yellowstone

    Head north toward Yellowstone with photo stops and a stretch at the West Thumb Geyser boardwalk. From there, you'll check out geysers and hot springs like Abyss Pool and Fishing Cone before eating lunch by the lake. Later, drive through Hayden Valley looking for bears, bison, and wolves, then hike a backcountry trail with views above the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. You'll stay at Canyon Lodge in the park's heart.

  4. Day 4

    Yellowstone to Gallatin Canyon

    This morning moves at a relaxed pace before heading to the Upper Geyser Basin to hike the Artemesia Trail and watch Old Faithful erupt. A guide prepares lunch on site, then you'll hike along the Firehole River to an overlook of Grand Prismatic, the world's third largest hot spring. By evening, you'll reach The 320 Guest Ranch in Gallatin Canyon, a 110-year-old homestead with authentic western character.

    Gallatin Canyon to Fairmont Hot Springs

    After breakfast at the ranch, a zip line tour takes you under limestone cliffs through pine forests and across a rushing river (this is where 'A River Runs Through It' was filmed). You'll have a picnic lunch, then drive 2.5 hours to Fairmont Hot Springs. Dinner features traditional handmade Italian cuisine.

  6. Day 6

    Fairmont Hot Springs to Whitefish

    Spend the morning relaxing in Fairmont Hot Springs' pools, including two Olympic swimming pools and two mineral soaking pools fed by 155-degree natural hot spring water. After departing late morning, you'll drive to Whitefish with a lunch stop at a mountain restaurant overlooking Flathead Lake. Check into Grouse Mountain Lodge, which has an indoor pool, outdoor hot tubs, and spa. The evening is free to explore Whitefish on your own.

    You'll hike the Highline Trail (also called the Garden Wall) to Haystack Butte and back, starting from Logan Pass along the famous Going to the Sun Road. The alpine environment shows off vibrant wildflowers and dramatic peaks, with chances to spot mountain goats or bighorn sheep. This evening, join the group for a final dinner celebrating your journey through three national parks.
