Meet your trip manager and squad as you leave Barcelona heading toward the French Riviera. The drive takes you to this glamorous Mediterranean coast with its blue waters and upscale feel. Once you arrive, there's an included dinner tonight to get everyone together and kick things off.

- Day 2
French Riviera to Monaco
Spend the day checking out the French Riviera region, known for lavender honey, aioli, and rosé wine. You'll head to Monaco to see the Monte Carlo Casino and the Royal Palace. The principality has serious grandeur to take in, and then you head back to the coast for the night.

French Riviera to Cinque Terre to Pisa
Travel south to Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage site with five fishing villages on cliffsides. Your rail pass is included, so you can hike between villages, eat local food, or just relax with the views at your own pace. Later, you'll travel to Pisa for the night.

Florence to Sorrento
Leave Florence and drive south along Italy's coast to Sorrento, a seaside village where you can kick back and relax. The evening is open for you to spend by the water, maybe watching the sunset over town.

Amalfi Coast
Take a scenic drive on the Amalfi Coast, stopping in Amalfi town to see castles and dramatic views. Then you visit a lemon farm to learn how limoncello gets made. Back in Sorrento, walk along the clifftops, check out the old center, and try local gnocchi.

Sorrento to Pompeii to Rome
After a short drive on the Amalfi Coast, you get a guided walking tour through Pompeii's preserved ruins from the Roman era. After that, you'll see Mount Vesuvius from a distance, the active volcano that buried the city. By evening you'll be in Rome exploring the cobblestone streets.

Rome to Verona to Venice
Head to Verona, the romantic city that inspired Romeo and Juliet. Visit the famous balcony and check out the Roman Arena. From there, you'll head to Venice on 118 islands connected by boats, bridges, and gondolas. Settle in tonight since you have the full next day to explore.

Venice
Spend your full day exploring Venice. A private boat takes you to the historical center for a guided walking tour. Then you can either glide down canals on a gondola or get pleasantly lost wandering streets and bridges. Venice is yours to figure out.

Leave Italy and head toward the Alpine mountains that inspired the Sound of Music. You arrive in Salzburg, Austria, home to Mozart and Hohensalzburg Castle, one of Europe's largest medieval castles. Tonight includes an authentic Austrian dinner prepared by local farm hosts.

Prague to Dresden to Berlin
Travel from Prague toward Berlin with a stop in Dresden. This city was rebuilt after World War II and now shows off beautiful Baroque architecture, like the Opera House and Frauenkirche. Then you continue to Berlin to see the Berlin Wall and Europe's longest open-air art gallery.

Amsterdam to London
Time to say goodbye to your Contiki group. Depart Amsterdam around 10am heading to Schiphol Airport. If you're heading to London, you'll travel south to Calais, cross the English Channel into France, then continue to London where the tour ends.
