  • What is the Adventure Pass?

    Every Acacia Overland tour has an Adventure Pass which is paid to your tour leader in Africa at the beginning of the tour (or pre-paid by arrangement prior to your tour). This is separate and in addition to the Tour Price, and covers selected park entries, activities and excursions along the way where payment goes directly to the supplier to ensure local suppliers benefit directly from the income.

  • What is the local payment?

    For the tour Kilimanjaro Trek - Marangu Route - Moshi start, you will need to pay your local tour guide a local payment which is collected on arrival at the tour.

    This local payment fund allows your tour leader to run the tour in the local environment covering park entries, ferries and activities indicated in the tour highlights. The local payment allows you to relax knowing that the destaintations are paid for and you can focus on enjoying your tour.
