- Day 1
Dublin
Pick up your rental car at the airport and drive south to Dún Laoghaire, a charming seaside suburb just outside Dublin. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace. You've got a voucher for one major attraction: choose between the Guinness Storehouse with a complimentary pint at the Gravity Bar, Teeling Distillery, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, the GPO Museum, or Jameson Distillery Bow St. Grab dinner on your own later.

Galway
Drive from Dún Laoghaire toward Galway. Along the way, you can stop at Sean's Bar in Athlone, which has been operating since 900 AD and holds the title of Europe's oldest pub, or detour to Clonmacnoise to see the fascinating monastic site on the River Shannon. Continue on to Galway and spend your afternoon walking through the vibrant, artistic city with its medieval winding lanes and lively street energy. Dinner is included at your hotel.

Head back to Galway by evening and wander around the city on your own time.

Killarney

Continue south to Killarney and finish your day with a traditional Irish night at Kate Kearney's Cottage, enjoying live music and dance along with dinner included.

Killarney

The colorful village of Kenmare works well for a lunch break. If you're interested in shopping, stop at the Gap of Dunloe to visit Moriarty's, a CIE Tours preferred partner. Return to Killarney in the evening with free time to explore the town.

Another option is to drive out of the city to check out charming coastal villages and seaside suburbs like Howth and Dalkey, where you'll find great ocean views, excellent seafood, and lovely streetscapes. Dinner is on your own.
