- RJRadu· October 27th, 2019Great tour with the perfect mix of activity and time to wonder. Helpful, young, and funny guide made it even more enjoyable; and the driver took it to the next level! Tour goes through some of the top things to see in Ireland. The only downside are... Show moreTrip date: October 2019
- Dolores· September 22nd, 2019This tour was excellent! Antoinette was so bubbly and passionate and really attempted to accommodate everyone despite the various different demands. She was extremely knowledgeable and engaging which aside for the epic scenery, made this tour an... Show moreTrip date: September 2019

- Elizabeth· September 11th, 2019A lil hiccup at the beginning with the bus, but the rest of the trip made it all worth it in the end. Great stories, laughs and scenic views. - KCKacey· September 4th, 2019The included breakfasts were bread and cereal. I’ve been to third world countries that provide better breakfast than that. It was quite disappointing morning after morning. The bus transportation was nice, but the seats were very uncomfortable. Also,... Show moreTrip date: August 2019

- Matthew· August 29th, 2019It’s undoubtedly a challenge to put together an itinerary to see Ireland in just 7 days because the country has so much to offer. - Becky· August 18th, 2019Do not do the black cabs tour. They will try and talk you into it last minute. Listen to me and don't do it. You will learn more and have a better understanding of the troubles from the Derry walking tour anyway. It's such a shame this is on day 1,... Show moreTrip date: August 2019

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are there any luggage restrictions?
Shamrocker Adventures allows each passenger to have one main piece of baggage with the total weight being no more than 44lbs/20kgs. You will find that the majority of tours have a 20kg luggage limit per person, as this provides luggage room on the transport for all travellers in the group. In addition, you can bring one daypack onboard the transport but you must be able to carry this around with you.
- What should I budget for an average day?
We recommend allowing €15 - €30 per day. You can’t come to Ireland without visiting the pub for a proper pint at the end of a hard day’s exploring. A pint of Guinness costs around €5.50, and an Irish whiskey would be about €6.
- How much time do we spend off the bus each day?
Loads! Shamrocker Adventures plans to get you out and about, stretch your legs and breathe in the sweet Irish air and actually experience the country you’re in. Embark on walks, explore old ruins and ancient sites, recount local myths, or listen to a few tales about Ireland’s rich history.
- What type of accommodation will we be staying in?
The accommodation on this tour are high-quality hostels which are packed full of character! Shamrocker Adventures guarantee you a multi-share dorm bed on this tour. Please contact your Travel Expert if you wish to upgrade your accommodation.
- What’s included in the tour price?
All transportation around Ireland (including ferries), your fan-feck-tastic Guide, some of the top attractions and your accommodation whilst on tour including a light breakfast. To give you maximum flexibility on your tour, there are options to upgrade your accommodation at the time of booking and organise your own food. It’s your money so you should have the option to spend it how you like!
- Do you arrange airport transfers?
There are no airport transfers included in this tour, therefore you will need to make their own way to the starting point. All Shamrocker Adventures tour starting points are centrally located and have good public transport links so there should be no trouble getting there!
- I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?
Unfortunately, a single supplement is not available for this tour, so if you are a solo traveller, you will be roomed in dorm-share with your fellow travellers.
- When and where does the tour end?
This tour concludes with your arrival to Shamrocker Adventures at approximately 5:30 pm in Dublin (Four Courts Hostel, 15-17 Merchants Quay, Merchants Quay, Dublin, D08 V4Y7, Ireland). After 7 amazing days, it's time to say goodbye to your new friends and continue your travels! Please be aware that the drop-off point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
- When and where does the tour start?
This tour starts with a check-in at 8:15 am and departure at 8:30 am from Shamrocker Adventures in Dublin (Four Courts Hostel, 15-17 Merchants Quay, Merchants Quay, Dublin, D08 V4Y7, Ireland). Due to the early start, we recommend arriving one or two days prior to the tour to settle in and make sure you don't miss the bus. You are now leaving the Republic behind and heading north to begin your adventure! Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
- Do I need a visa?
As a tour booking website, TourRadar cannot organise visas for you on your behalf as the visa requirements are regularly being updated and vary for the nationality of one traveller to the next. It is for this reason that we recommend checking with your local embassy or consulate website for the latest up to date information.
