Is the entrance to machu picchu included in the price

The Machu Picchu entrance ticket is included in your tour. Depending on availability, the visit can be on Circuit 2, Circuit 1, or Circuit 3.

When people branch off to hike huayna picchu, does the rest of the group have to wait around for them to be done? Or do we continue with our itinerary. If we were to ride the train back down to aguas calientes, when we arrive there do we have to wait for the remainder of the group to walk down? Meaning we would be waiting there for an additionall 2.5 hours before starting the 6 hour bus ride back to cusco? Or is it possible to start our journey back as soon as we arrive in aguas calientes?

  You can make a reservation and later change the date; however, please note that this means the entrance date will not be fully confirmed yet. Machu Picchu tickets must be issued with a specific date, and once they are confirmed, the date cannot be changed. Another option is that we can purchase the tickets directly with you once you arrive in the town. This option allows us to be more flexible in case you need to change your travel dates.

- For any tour departing before May 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Haku Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
