Itinerary
- Day 1
Imlil to Toubkal Refuge
A short transfer gets you to Imlil where your muleteer will be waiting. From there, you'll start hiking through mountain terrain, passing through the village of Aremd and following the leftmost slope of Toubkal's valley. You'll stop by Sidi Chamharouch, a small settlement built around a Muslim shrine. After crossing a stream, the terrain gets steeper as you climb up the Isougouane valley. By evening, you'll reach the Refuge where you'll stay for the night.

- Day 2
Ascent of Djebel Toubkal
An early start gets you climbing steeply through various slopes and valleys toward North Africa's highest peak. You'll pass through Tizi'n'Toubkal at 3,940 meters/12,927 feet, then continue to the summit of Djebel Toubkal at 4,167 meters/13,671 feet. At the top, there's a metal pyramidal frame marking the spot, and from there, you can see across the Anti-Atlas and Atlas mountains stretching out in all directions.

- Day 3
Descent to Imlil and Return to Marrakech
After breakfast, you'll head down to the marabout of Sidi Chemharouch at 2,250 meters/7,382 feet, then continue descending to Imlil at 1,750 meters/5,741 feet where lunch is waiting. From Imlil, it's a drive back to Marrakech, and you'll arrive around 2:00 PM.
