Back in 1989, two guys from Melbourne, Australia by the names of Darrell and Manch set off on an adventure to the other side of the world. They travelled to Africa and without air conditioning on their modified truck, they filled it with supplies, some beer, a bunch of aviator sunglasses, and some friends. On that trip, they came up with the idea that perhaps others may be interested in this style of travel too. Just like that, Intrepid was born. - When and where does the tour start?
The adventure starts in Rome, upon check-in at your centrally based accommodation. There are no activities today so you're free to spend the day exploring this wonderful city! Just be sure to be back in time for your important 6 pm welcome meeting.
The joining point is currently Hotel Stella, which is centrally located near Termini Station and the biggest park in Rome, Villa Borghese. Please be aware that the joining point hotel is subject to change, and will be confirmed in your final travel documents which will be sent 3 - 4 weeks prior to departure. - What is the average age of people on this tour?
The general age range is 25-49 however Intrepid's appeal is diverse, which is why it is all about your shared attitude, not age.
