Two sisters and a lifetime of adventure...Since Monica's first trip to Italy at age 9 months (when she went skinny dipping at the Lido of Venice) and since Maria Elena's debut as an expert "gelato" consultant in Italy on tour, at age 5, we have made Italy a permanent part of our lives. Rick Price and Paola Malpezzi Price believed strongly that bicycle travel was the best way to see the world, and we couldn't agree more. In 2008 Monica and Maria Elena Price bought the bicycle tour company their parents began in 1972 as Bike Across Italy. After working and cycling the world as bicycle tour leaders and as daughters of two bicycle tour and travel enthusiasts we felt it was time to follow our own passion for travel, bicycles and people. In 2011 Maria Elena and Monica were honored to be named 2 of the Top 10 Guides in the world by National Geographic Traveler.

- Ddougbentley· September 15th, 2022this was a great tour, we loved it. the riding was not difficult and not for anyone who wants to pound miles all day long but the routes were interesting riding through the countryside, stopping in small villages for coffee and snacks, lots of history...
