  Firstly, our trip to India and Nepal was great. We saw so many sights, experienced 2 different cultures and ate Indian and Nepali food. Wonderful! Our driver and sometimes guide, Prakesh Sharma was very good. He drove us through heavy traffic and over some terrible roads with patience And safety. He is very personable and a good person to spend time with. He always put our wishes first. He is also very caring. When Carol got sick, he didn’t go off duty that night until the Dr had left and we knew she would be OK. We do have some suggestions: 1) Limit your departures to one or two a week instead of every day. That way you could make Sure there are enough travellers to fill A bus and not be sending people off 2 at a time with a driver. While there are pros and cons to being on a bus vs a driver, we were expecting to travel by bus and would have preferred that for the sociability of meeting other travellers, if nothing else. We also expected that there would be a guide with the group for the whole trip And not different guides in different cities. Some of the guides told us that Tourradar doesn’t pay them and they depend only on tips. This puts pressure on the traveller to tip more than they really want to. 2) Don’t take people to Ele-jungle outside of Jaipur. A much better experience( and less expensive) would have been to ride on an elephant up to the Amér Palace at Jaipur. 3) you state in your website that travellers will need about $200 US for expenses. You clearly state the things that are extra( elephant ride, safari at Chitwan and plane ride over Kathmandu valley). However, the way the tour is described, it sounds like at least some admissions are included. in fact, none were. We spent more like $500 On admissions and meals. When you say that we would be having supper Chitwan at the lodge, it sounds like it is included but it is not. While nothing in India or Nepal is very expensive and it was not a big hardship to pay all the admissions, we felt quite mislead by your description of the tour. We had no complaints about the hotels we stayed at. One thing about the itinerary I would suggest would be to have 2 nights in either Chitwan or Pokhara and reduce the # of nights in Kathmandu from 3 to 2. Having the flight from Kathmandu to Dehli at the end was good since it takes a very long time to travel a given distance in IndiaShow more

  Our driver Prakash was very good and the sites that we saw were great. I do feel that the trip outline should be more forthcoming in letting people know how much entrance fees are for each city. We were unclear many times about entrance fees. Also you should let people know how far they will be travelling between cities. Our driver was great in telling us each day but we did not expect some of the long days in the car. In hindsight, we would have chosen to pay extra and fly from Pokara to Kathmandu, as this ride was long and dangerous. Again, Prakash, our driver was great and he kept us safe. Some of the hotels were not great (Delhi and Lumbini).Show more

  We've just finished the tour that started in India and finished in Nepal Kathmandu and it was from the beginning till the end a very nice experience. Both our personal driver Mr. Sanjay and local guides were very professional and accommodating. We learnt new facts about culture and Indian traditions. Attraction we asked to include like hike in Nagarkot, Chitwan safari was great fun and a nice adventure. Thrilling mountain flight added emotional and beauty to mountain exploration. We highly recommend this travel agency and if you are searching a reliable tour oper, look no further!Show more

  Thay was an amazing tour in in incredible India & Nepal from.the beginning till the end. Our time passed very quickly and was filled with very exciting sightseeing and attractions, such as cooking classes, safari in Chitwan park and moderate trekking in Kathmandu. Everything was well arranged by the tour operator. Our personal driver Mr. Mithun did his very best to drive us safely to all the destinations. He told us interesting stories about India which made us feel very comfortable while traveling from one city to another. Paylesstoursindia showed their Atten to details and took really great care of us. We'll undoubtedly recommend them to our acquaintances and family members.Show more

  I have mixed feelings about this experience. I believe we paid too much money for what we got. The quality of the hotels was poor, maybe there were a couple of exceptions. For example, the hotel we were assigned in New Delhi, had recently gone through some repairs in the entrance, and were not finished. In Lumbini, the hotel had no elevator, we were put on the third floor, and when I sat on the bed, the mattress splitted in two. As a result, I told our driver we were booking another hotel ourselves, however he took care of it, and got us a beautiful property. All things said, the following day when we got to Chitwan and did the safari in the National Park, we were charged US$100 each to see two rinoscerous and a whole bunch of deers, so it was clear to me, we paid for that wonderful hotel ourselves. We knew we had to travel by bus/car from city to city, however we spent most of our day in the car (minimum 5 to 6 hours), and after a few days, it became very uncomfortable. Some of the cities we visited, mostly in Nepal, were only there to stop for the night, because there was nothing really exciting to see. I would like to give a huge thank you to our driver Parkash for his help and assistance. He went out of his way to please us and make us comfortable; without him, things would have been a total disaster.. Also a big thank you to the tour guides, who through their knowledge, pride, and passion, they told us the beautiful history of their cities. On a positive note, I managed to see everything I wanted to see on this tri, however I will not be returning to India in the future.Show more

  Pros: The tour was well organized and everything ran smoothly. The communication with tour operator and personnel (driver, guides) was excellent. Among other things, they were always ready to discuss and accommodate possible itinerary changes and meet our wishes. Cons: The personnel does not receive salaries and are working on tourist tips. Those are not included in the official tour price. Recommendation: Consider booking 4-star hotels (3-star hotels are OK, but lack many amenities). Definitely book a trekking (as additional itinerary item) in Nepal.Show more

  We have just come to the end of our travels with Payless India but more importantly with our Driver Mithun. We travelled through India and Nepal with the best travel Buddy, Driver and guide. He ensured we got the most out of our trip, every need and request was met with courtesy. We saw the most amazing sites, and have lots of pictures for our memories. I think it would not have been the same without the trusty and reliable Mithun. I would definitely recommend this trip to see the sights of both India and Nepal, we appreciated the flexibility to change our itinerary and see a place in the mountains, both Payless and Mithun were great putting everything immediately into place for us. There were long hours on the road but we stopped when we wanted and saw the most amazing countryside, definitely better than flying! Our biggest highlights were shopping in Jaipur, the amazing Taj Mahal in Agra which also gave us our funniest moments being robbed of our bananas by a monkey. Myself and Mithun laughed a lot about that incident, obviously no one was injured. Chitwan, Pokhara, our flight to Everest. To be honest I could go on. Thanks Payless for your prompt and efficient service and thanks Mithun, it just wouldn’t have been the same without you. Our original plan was to spend 8 days in India and 8 days in Nepal, but due to the unrest in Nepal, we remained in India for the entire tour. Mr. Neeraj Sharma, along with our driver Mithun, promptly created an excellent extended itinerary for us in India. We highly recommend our driver Mithun. What more can be said? He is truly exceptional courteous, extremely friendly, punctual, and reliable. He ensured we felt safe and joyful throughout our journey, making every moment enjoyable.   We recently completed the Bestseller Tour India with Nepal, flight included with Payless Tours India, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the start, communication with the company was smooth, responsive, and reliable. The tour was well organized while still allowing for flexibility and customization along the way. This gave us the comfort of a structured plan but also the freedom to adapt when needed. The heart of our trip was our driver, Mithun. He was much more than a driver, he was a wonderful travel companion. His skill in navigating India’s challenging traffic and roads gave us confidence and peace of mind every single day. He was always helpful, sharing his insights and showing us the heart of India. He was accommodating, and attentive to our needs, going above and beyond to make our journey special. Anyone lucky enough to have Mithun as their driver will be truly blessed. Unfortunately, the Nepal portion of the tour had to be canceled just a day before we were to travel to the Nepalese border due to the political upheaval (the Gen-Z revolution). While we were naturally disappointed, we also felt fortunate not to get caught up in the situation. Neeraj Sharma of Payless Tours and Mithun handled this challenge with great professionalism, immediately arranging an alternative itinerary for us. We spent eight extra days traveling slowly from Varanasi back to Delhi, with hotels included at no extra cost to us. The replacement program was well thought out, enriching and fascinating, making the best of a difficult circumstance. We were impressed with how quickly and smoothly this was organized. The hotels provided were comfortable and modern, generally 3-star standard with air-conditioning and the amenities we needed. If budget allowed, I might choose 5-star hotels next time for the added convenience and locations, but overall, the accommodations were perfectly fine for this style of trip. Traveling with Payless Tours meant we saw places and experiences that large bus groups often miss. We felt well cared for at all times and had opportunities to see India more up close and personal. Overall, I highly recommend Payless Tours India. You will be in very good hands, with excellent organization, caring staff, and drivers like Mithun who turn a trip into a memorable journey.Show more
