    i went as a single traveler and I was disappointed by several things The trip is really centered around drinking most of the activities were just going to bars and some of them were terrible venues too small. The tour guide Charlie was a terrible tour... Show more

    Rich was great fun to have as guide, highly organised and knowledgeable on Edinburgh and Hogmanay. 10/10 would recommend as a tour guide to anyone looking to celebrate Hogmanay or travel to Scotland.

    Hogmanay tour was great fun, and an excellent way to enjoy new years. Fit in a bit of sight seeing and a day trip to the highlands, so was a good package that included more than just nights out. Highlight would have to be the Celidh at Ghillie Dhu which... Show more

    • What should I budget for an average day?

      To get the most out of your tour, ideally you should budget £40-£50 per day for meals and any other experiences. There are always the fabulous Scottish pubs to tempt you in for a pint or two after a day on the road! A pint of beer costs around £4, a wee dram of malt whisky in Scotland would be about £4.

    • How much time do we spend off the bus each day?

      As much time as possible! The aim is to get you out and about to fully experience the country you’re in. You'll embark on walks, explore castles, recount local myths and legends and tell you about Scotland’s often turbulent history.

    • What type of accommodation will we be staying in?

      The accommodation available on this tour are high-quality youth hostels, mostly rated 3 and 4-stars. All of the hostels have great facilities, provide free linen, self-catering kitchens, security and laundry facilities, ensuring that you have a great night sleep ready for an adventure the next day!

    • What’s included in the tour price?

      The tour price includes transportation on the famous yellow Haggis bus and a legendary local guide to lead the way. Accommodation in multi-share dorm rooms at high-quality youth hostels is also included on this tour. Meals are not included which allows you to keep your options open and eat according to your budget, giving you maximum flexibility to make the most out of your tour!

    • How do I get my ticket to the Street Party and how much does it cost?

      The Hogmanay Street Party ticket is included with this tour - it will be provided to you by your tour guide.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
      • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Haggis Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
      • The following cards are accepted for "Haggis Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
