Our tour guide Shandy was an absolute legend and helped so much with giving advice on what to do, where to go, and just making the whole trip seamless and enjoyable. The areas we visited were all so beautiful, and we had so many fun activities along the way, plus our accommodation was stunning throughout. It’s hard to even choose a favourite part as everyday of the trip was so exciting & fun - but climbing Mt Batur at sunrise was a particular highlight. Our Group Leader, Chandy was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also kind and always ready to help, making the whole experience even better. The itinerary was well-planned, covering fantastic locations that showed the best of Bali. My highlights of the trip was visiting the Monkey Forest in Ubud, hiking up Mount Batur and watching the sunrise, and snorkelling in the Gilli Islands! There was some confusion at the start, apparently the company they use for transportation changed names but they didn't update the welcome packet, so when I needed to find my ride to get picked up from the airport the name they told me to have Information page was incorrect and I ended up needing to get my own taxi to the hotel. But they were apologetic and reimbursed me as it was their error. Fortunately that didn't set the stage for the whole trip, and everything else was wonderful. Tika was the best guide, so warm and friendly and knowledgeable. The experiences on this tour were amazing. A lot of time spent in transit and moving around the island frequently, but I knew what I was signing up for and I liked being able to get an "overview" so to speak. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, and I was very happy with being able to pack as much in as I could while I had the chance.
