Ship Overview

Finnish-built for the Russian Academy of Science, this ship was designed to travel quietly during hydro-acoustic research. External stabilisers and a built-in trimming system provide exceptional stability and she has an ice-strengthened hull. She has a fantastic 270 degree bar on deck 6 and is our most popular ship. From small group sessions to briefings for all passengers, there are public spaces on-board the ship ideally suited for each and every need. A separate bar and lounge located on deck six, as well as a library provide ideal places to sit and relax or catch up on some reading.
