Great hotels and locations, short bus journeys, excellent tour leader. Only slight negative is the optional organised trips were too expensive and hardly any were included. All good.

Tour was very good. Good balance between excursions and optional free time. Tour leader Elina was excellent. Some of local guides were...ok... bus and hotels were clean and comfortable. The only item I would add is to include city tour in each major city. Elina tried to cover it while we were traveling between cities but that was not full tour unfortunately. Overall - strongly recommend

The Baltics tour was well organized to focus on the highlights of the region. The extra excursions and meals are expensive add-ons and not always good value. The city walking tours were interesting. Best for travelers who are comfortable doing independent activities while still part of a group.

This 8 day tour gives a very brief overview of the Baltic capitals, Vilnius, Riga and Estonia. There are some additional activities that can be purchased separately. The tour is run parallel to a number of other languages, i.e I was in an English speaking tour that also had German speaking travellers. Simultaneously, we joined with Italian & Spanish speaking travellers for activities as well, such as dinners or tours to particular sites or areas. Our tour guide Janis was very knowledgeable and affable, however there was a lot of detail provided and I would have preferred to have more free time to wander around rather than standing in the streets listening to a whole lot of information. There are a lot of churches & castles visited, and I felt that it was probably overkill for 3 small nations. I would have loved to have seen included some real, local activities that allowed immersion with the people and the culture. The hotel accommodation was outstanding until we got to Tallinn where it dropped in standard and service. I paid 3 euro for English breakfast tea and some honey to be brought to my room in Riga. Since when do you pay for room service? That was disappointing, especially because the English breakfast tea was standard in the rooms & I hadn't been provided with any. Be prepared to be fit enough to get up and down some very steep bus steps.

Better than excellent. It fulfilled all my expectations. Our tour guild Leons was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable. The hotels were 5 star. Everything went smooth. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see everything in a short time.
