I did the 12 days Sri Lanka tour. It was exactly as described on the program. It's very good and have all the most important place to visit in Sri Lanka. It's a mix between beach, hiking, old temple, sunset, nature, ... A good proportion between activities and resting time. You will appreciate proximity with locals. Personal highlights were sigirya and elephants at safari ;) At location like Mirissa it's possible to add extra activities like surf lessons, snorkling with turtles. Accommodation are all very good standing. It was such a pleasure to experience this comfort during the tour. Special mention to tents the safari day ! For the daily transport, the van was really good with air climatisation and always clean thanks to our wonderfull tour guide, Sumudu. So last but not least, all my greetings to Sumudu one of the most kind hearted person you might meet. He knows every tip and everyone in the country. His mission is for the group to spend the best time possible . A problem ? Sumudu is here ! From France, thank you Sumudu, thank you one life.

Honestly, this was the best holiday I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to 23 countries! Even before the tour began, Sumudu set the tone by creating a WhatsApp group, making sure we had all the information we needed and answering any questions quickly. He organised airport pickups seamlessly and checked that we were settled into our hotel, which immediately put us at ease. From there, it was a whirlwind adventure. We packed in an incredible range of activities at all times of day: hikes, temples, waterfalls, safaris, historical tours, boat rides, bike rides, tractor rides, train rides, cooking classes, rice paddy farming, tea plantation visit, surfing, and sunset walks. Despite how much we did, everything felt effortless thanks to how organised and flexible Sumudu was. Whatever we wanted, he made it happen and always on a timeline that suited the group. On the rare occasions when the weather disrupted plans, he adjusted the schedule smoothly and expertly. He also gave great recommendations for free time, and there was never any pressure, just genuine care and enthusiasm. He’s a warm, passionate person who clearly loves what he does. We learned so much from him, and his jokes were genuinely funny too. He really embodied a “one life, one family” ethos, bringing the group together while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and easygoing (which I especially appreciated as someone a bit socially awkward). A special mention to our driver, Rooshan, who was always early, always smiling, and completely reliable. And to Ruveen, who went above and beyond cleaning the bus, carrying luggage, holding umbrellas, taking photos- always with a smile. The balance of activities was perfect: active time, downtime, and group time all felt just right. We were never on the road for more than 2–3 hours at a time, which made the pace really enjoyable. The food was absolutely incredible. Every place Sumudu took us was outstanding, and I found myself going back for seconds every time. There were also convenient daily stops for ATMs, currency exchange, and snacks. Overall, this was a truly memorable experience. I couldn’t recommend it more if you’re looking for a wholesome, well-organised, and unforgettable tour of beautiful Sri Lanka.
