The aspects related to cruising on the boat were excellent. Great staff, great food, great service. Our main gripe is that when the boat docked for people to go on tours, there was really nothing for those not touring to get off the boat and have a look at. We would have liked to participate in some of the tours, but the passengers who had booked in bulk groups had had the opportunity to pre-book tours. Subsequently, there were no places left o those tours for people who booked singularly.

I would have given this five stars if the excursions had been a bit better organised. The on board experience was great. The food was first class and the service even better. The Douro was a lot more picturesque than I thought, and the places we visited were interesting.

The boat, the cabins, the staff, the food, the drinks, the service were all excellent- well done! The excursions package was changed not long before we went, to a lower value programme, which involved NOT going to Salamanca, which most of the guests on board wished to visit, to instead visiting a sardine canning factory!!! The tour guide Isabelle did her best, the guest guide Stephanie was fantastic, but the programme had obviously ben down marketed, a real shame!

The cruise was fantastic, more than we expected, especially with the excursion package! The food was divine, the service was meticulous and the cabin and ship were perfectly comfortable. We very much enjoyed having the balcony in our cabin.

The food and service onboard was fantastic, no complaints at all. There was a comprehensive excursion package which we were strongly encouraged to purchase in advance, it was probably too much as took time away from relaxing on board and watching the world go by! I had some discussion with Crucemundo as I had already done one of the excursions before. I did not go again but could not get a refund for that tour. I was glad that I didn't go as they were late back that day. There was another group on board at a different price point who definitely had a different experience to us, and this was a little strange.

A very affordable cruise on a lovely ship. The food was excellent and the cabins were clean and comfortable. There were a few negatives, we were advised that is was better not to drink water from the cabin taps, but we were charged 4 Euros a day for bottled water in the cabin. Also no water was provided for the tours. Our travel agent TourRader said that we could not book excursions until we were on the ship.. Consequently there was no English speaking guide as no excursions had been booked. Only German, who presumably booked through another company. They did however manage to recruit a Spanish cruise coordinator, who although wasn't a guide, did speak English and helped tremendously with arrangong trips for the 6 English speaking guests.

The facilities and crew were excellent. The food, bar staff and housekeeping were amazing but the lack of opportunities to undertake any tours as they were all pre booked was very disappointing. The cruise guide Tatiana was very polite and friendly but as we had no tours it would be hard to rate so my rating is purely on the lack of opportunity to do tours. The entertainer was great and really tried to get people involved and dancing. A suggestion would be to have spots available for all guests on board for any tours you offer or don’t do tours ??
