The overall tour and its organization was excellent. The package included tours and the optional tours were well organized and the tour guides were well informed and covered the most important aspects of each city that we visited given the time frame that the ship was docked. It was unfortunate that the tour group was unable to embark in Romania due to the recent floods and the likelihood of the Danube flooding around Turnu Magurele, necessitating the tour organizers transferring the group via bus to Port Vidin, Bulgaria to board the ship. The crew when approached were diligent, responsive and attentive to the guests requests and needs. The ship was kept in a hygienically clean condition and the food not only varied and generous but of a very high standard. All in all, I loved this cruise experience.

We missed the 1st port and instead of having 3 hours bus ride, we had to endure the 6 hours of bus ride under pouring rain. Also, the 2 rest stops during the trip to the ship were absolutely horrible: slippery floor in the bathroom, no toilet paper.. Upon arriving to the destination (the ship) -port Vidin, we had to get there with no umbrellas, very poor lighting and no help from the crew . The ground was very slippery and uneven. Very poor organization The next day we were informed that we are entitled only to 4 tours instead of promised tours at all the stops We were not allowed to open our windows in the cabin. The room was very stuffy. The bed lined wasn't change even once during 10days. The blankets were too short. The staff was excellent: friendly and helpful. It was our 2nd river cruise (the 1st was with Avalon), and Crucemundo was very substandard in comparison

We did not leave from Turnu Magurele but from Vidin. A horrible 5 1/2hr bus ride from Bucharest in the rain. Both rest stops were at Service Stations where toilets were revolting! Arriving at the ship(in the rain- no umbrellas, poor lighting & uneven ground - very dangerous) we were given our room keys (they had me in the cabin with my cousin & this was not changed throughout the trip) and told to go to the dining room for dinner at our assigned table. We ate at 11pm! Next morning spoke to the Augustin, Tour Manager about our package. He rudely told me we were only entitled to 4 English speaking tours and none of the special tours. Crucemundo completely misled us and others. We were given no satisfactory explanation why the change of departure port and feel the tour refund was a con. Then asked why we had to sit at the same table the whole cruise and was told they were the rules. Felt like I was in boarding school. Decided I had to put this rude Manager aside and try and enjoy the Cruise that I had dreamt about for a long time. With 3 tour groups being Augustin's main focus we were made to feel like hangers on. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in our room (and others) only blew out air no cooling and it was very dirty. Most days we had stink bugs (shield Bugs) in our room. They came from the ceiling cavity. Entertainment a bit poor - asked for tips so assume Crucemundo poorly paid them. The staff were exceptional for their service and friendliness. To sum up we will never take a cruise with Crucemundo again.

It started with the departure from the Bucarest airport. The name Tour Radar was nowhere to be found on any signs held by personnel coming to pick us up. We saw 2 persons wearing Karpanen shirts holding Tripoppo signs with MS Fidelio written in the back of their Trippo signs. We presented ourselves to them and they were not awware Tour Radar were taking the same bus. She had to call her office to confirm they could take us. Bus was supposed to leave at 15:00 and at 16:30 she was still expectiing 6 passengers without having their names or flights. We arrived to late at the ship for luggages handling. We had to carry ourselve our luggage trough 2 boats before the MS Fidelio. Of course we mist the welcome cocktail.

The sign you saw was from an agency managing their group, while TourRadar serves as a platform where travelers individually book their cruise itineraries. Additionally, we often do not receive flight information from all passengers, and delays can occur. We strive to accommodate everyone by waiting for the remaining passengers. We learned at lot about the history and culture of a part of the world which had been obscure during our education because it was behind the Iron Currant. We are recommending the trip to friends.

The ten day trip between Vienna and Bucharest was a very enjoyable experience. We had 3 meals every day that were really good. If I wanted to nit-pick I would say that the Italian dishes were not the chef's favorite, but everything was well done. The crew were all very friendly and efficient. The housekeeping was always done in the background with the fun towel sculptures on the bed that they do in cruises. The waitstaff in the restaurant was always there, and the boat in general was always clean and well maintained. We participated in the free excursions that were offered at every major stop. Every time local guides did the tour in English in a very professional way. They were not very long (just a few hours), but always very informative.

This was our first river cruise and it has ensured it won't be our last. From start to finish the ship MS Fidelio was excellent and the crew and service offered second to none. All staff were friendly and efficient without getting in the way. Food was plentiful and the quality impressive. I found the balance between onboard and ashore perfect. The number of inclusive tours was good, four in total in Belgrade, Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna and on all occasions the guides knowledgeable and entertaining.Tours available in 3 languages , English , Spanish and Dutch. Additional optional tours were also available at a price but we chose to explore ourselves. At no point did we feel pressured in to adding further tours. Most of the sailing was done at night leaving as much time as possible in the designated places to visit. The crew went out of their way to entertain the passengers. The cruise manager Augustine was very entertaining with a fantastic sense of humour, something akin to a cross between Hi-De-Hi and Borat. Price of cruise very reasonable and drinks prices on board not overly extravagant, similar to prices in the UK. I would recommend this cruise on the Danube on board the MS Fidelio to anyone. I will also mention the ease of booking through Tour Radar and the follow up communication was exceptional. Looking forward to my next foray.
