OneLife - Japan Essentials Tour Tour guide: Beth This tour was easily one of the best decisions Iâve made. I knew nothing about the history of Japan, or about current day Japan and how to make my way around and abide to social norms, and social media made it worse with all of the contradictory information. But, Beth made the whole thing easy. She was informative and knowledgable and made sure we all knew exactly what we were doing and how to do it. I never felt overwhelmed or stressed because Beth carried the weight of it all with a smile on her face. Our tour was during the summer, and it has been a HOT one. With most of the country on a sunstroke warning, Beth was constantly checking in to make sure we were hydrated and had everything we needed. Even when we were all exhausted and overheated, she kept the vibes up! The essentials tour was perfect because we covered so much of Japan in such a short time, but we also had a good amount of free time to do anything else we wanted to do that wasnât on the itinerary. We were given plenty of recommendations if we werenât sure too! All of the accommodation sites were great. They are hostels, so I didnât go in with high hopes. But, they were clean and provided so many essentials - I really canât complain! Myself and my travel partner were both vegetarian, and when we got to Japan, we realised very quickly that it was going to be hard to eat anything at all. Our tour guide - Beth - gave us so many recommendations for vegetarian and vegan restaurants and was always making sure we were eating! As stated earlier, during the tour, Beth was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Japan. So, as a history lover, this was great for me! She could answer all of my questions and I have no idea how she stores all of the information in her brain! Beth always made it clear that we didnât have to listen to the information she was giving if we didnât want to, but she delivered it with such enthusiasm, we were all completely locked in. This tour was genuinely a life changing experience for me, and the worst part of the whole thing was going home. Iâll carry this with me forever. And for Beth, you are an absolute angel on this earth. You made this whole experience better than I could have ever anticipated. Thank you for everything youâve done. You are sunshine personified!

Georgi was an phenomenal guide to an incredible one life adventure. With daily itineraries drawn up, neatly and aestheticly, no day was even missed. With this being my first trip to Japan, the trip was perfect for seeing all the major sights Georgi always has great suggestions for extra things to do and see. She also delivered very insightful information about each location in a very understandable way and could answer our many questions. I thoroughly enjoyed my adventure and would highly recommend. I'd also hope you get Georgi as a guide, she truly made the trip more memorable XD

10/10, i genuinely donât have a single negative thing to say about beth (the most amazing tour guide), the itinerary or the organisation of it all. it was the best experience ever. i did the 13 day essentials trip to japan and it was perfect, we had the perfect amount of free time to do whatever we pleased with also a perfect mix of planned events, like visiting the temples, or dinner with the group or amazing day trips! my tour guide beth made this trip especially special! she is such a down to earth, lovely human with so many cool stories to tell and some great advice :) she also knew so much history about the places we visited and honestly so much of it has stuck with me, we learnt so many interesting things from beth that i wouldnât have known otherwise! so not only did we get the see the most amazing, beautiful places, we got to hear all about their history and some pretty cool facts! this trip will stay with me forever, it really was the experience of a life time. i wouldnât change any of it for the world. and again, i canât compliment beth enough, she made this whole thing complete, she is such a breath of fresh air, i donât know a single person who wouldnât love her. i made the best friends on this trip and i loved everyone i was in the group with. if youâre thinking of doing something like this, do it! thank you one life and bethâ€ïž

This tour has been hand on heart the best experience I have ever had, and itâs all thanks to Beth. She has an incredible knowledge on the history of Japan and Iâve learned so much through all of the fascinating info she has told us throughout our journey. With any worries/questions I had, Beth was there straight away to answer and put my mind at ease which helped me enjoy my time even more. Aside from being absolutely amazing at guiding us all through Japan and suggesting fun places for us to visit in our free time, I would most certainly book onto another one of her tours in the future as I fully trust her to give me the best experience no matter where the place may be. 5 stars through and throughđ«¶đ«¶đ«¶

This is my second time doing this tour and the second time getting Beth as my tour guide and sheâs still the best. She makes the tour fun and always informative about the country. This was a great tour I got to meet great people and have lotâs of fun doing activities and visiting beautiful architecture. Beth always makes sure everyone is ok and safe sheâs the best at navigating this crazy countryâs streets and public transportation! Beth is the GOAT of Japan and the best tour guide! Thanks Beth!

Beth was super friendly and considerate for what the group wanted to do, she was very knowledgeable about everywhere we went and answered every odd question i had. Always had suggestions on what to do during free time so nobody was doom scrolling or just waiting in the hostel. Plus a great karaoke singer, double thumbs up would tour with her again!

Japan had always been on my bucket list, and this tour exceeded all of my expectations. Everything was absolutely spectacular, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. A very special thank you to our tour guide, Charlie. She truly made this trip even more memorable. She paid close attention to every detail and made sure that my husband, I, and everyone in the group were well taken care of throughout the journey. Her organization, kindness, and dedication made us feel comfortable and supported every step of the way. It was the little things that made the biggest difference, and Charlie never overlooked them. Thanks to her, we were able to relax and fully enjoy this incredible adventure. I highly recommend this tour to anyone planning to visit Japan. It was an unforgettable experience, and I will always cherish these wonderful memories.

Our tour guide Bethany Whiddon was absolutely phenomenal! She made my first ever trip an absolute blast and super easy, it was easy for me to ask her for advice and sheâd respond quick as well. Despite being a fast walker she made sure everyone was ready before doing anything that would potentially separate us; and even if we were to be split up, she would either send a pin of where weâll be meeting up or have her live location on making it easier for those who decided to join later. And for those that wanted to do something entirely different especially during their free times she had listed a ton of awesome places to check out or food to dine at. Beth is such a friendly and enjoyable person to be around, and also a really awesome photographer. Some of those photos I really loved and posted them on instagram!đ loads of thanks goes out to her, highly recommended!!!
