I cannot begin to explain how amazing my tour in Sri Lanka was! I have been on lots of tours, both with Tru and other companies, but this was by far the best ever! Our tour guide ‘V’ went above and beyond for every single one of us on the tour. He was extremely knowledgeable; there wasn’t a single question that he couldn’t answer. We had so much fun with him and always felt safe and catered for. He always ensured everyone was happy and managed us as a group of 14 better than any other tour guide I’ve ever had. We had a really good group, all of mixed ages too which was nice, but our tour guide really was the icing on the cake! None of us wanted the tour to end; everything was perfect from the itinerary, the accommodation, and the transportation was also the best I’ve had in any tour - spacious, comfortable and safe.

The tour was such an amazing experience and was made so much better by Vajira. He was super friendly and made me feel completely at home in his beautiful country. Vajira taught us so much about Sri Lanka’s culture, food, language and wildlife! He made every single part of the tour fun and enjoyable!

V, was a brilliant tour guide, spoke great English, soo knowledgeable, so much fun and really caring! Couldn’t of asked for a better guide, V made us all feel so welcome and created memories that will last a life time :-)

This is my second trutravels tour and i had a really wonderful time. Our tour guide really made the trip what it was and made it the most amazing experience. It would not have been the same without him. He was always doing his best to make sure everyone in the group was happy which can be a challenge with so many people but everyone said how amazing he was. He was full of knowledge about everything it was impressive! I have already recommended the trip to others before I have even got home.

Vajira Completely made the tour for us. We all fell in love with him as much as we did Sri Lanka. He was kind and patient and looked out for us all. He was funny and told us so many amazing facts about everything we saw. He really brought the group together and made the experience magical for everyone

I couldn’t have hope for a better tour guide than Vajira, he single handedly made this trip the best possible experience. I got choked up when I was saying goodbye to him and I think that says it all! He is so kind and knowledgeable on everything to do with Sri Lanka. He wants you to have the best trip and will do everything he can to make this happen. I felt so safe going round with him as well, so useful to have someone to translate. Vajira, thank you so much for everything, I will miss you!

I had such an amazing time on my 10 day Sri Lanka tour. Our tour guide Vajira went above and beyond to make this the trip of a lifetime. The itinerary was packed with wonderful experiences everyday and Vajira managed to recommend even more brilliant experiences to have while we were there! The whole tour was arranged exceptionally, meaning we didn’t have to worry about the travel or accommodation, only about having a wonderful time. I felt extremely well looked after by Vajira and his knowledge about Sri Lanka that he shared with us was fantastic. All of our questions were answered by him and I feel as if I learnt and experienced so many new things in such a short period of time. I would definitely do another TruTravels tour and I have already recommended the company to a friend! However our experience would not have been the same without our fabulous tour guide, Vajira, and his kindness; wisdom; professionalism; his willingness to share his experiences with us; and most of all become our friend and enjoy this glorious holiday beside us. This really is the perfect tour of Sri Lanka. The itinerary is well thought out, covering all the main places and attractions. We had a super comfy spacious bus with 2 fabulous drivers who really looked after us and made sure all our luggage was safe and loaded every day. They were really friendly and always accommodating with stops along the way. Then there was our tour guide, Vajira, Vee :) So blessed we had him. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the country and all the places we visited, ensuring all our questions were answered. But more than being just a guide, he was also our friend! He always made sure we were OK and provided many laughs along the way. I'm so grateful he spent the 10 days with us.
