We were expecting another group tour, so were a little surprised by the fact that there was no group, no tour guide per see and no coach. However , we loved the service we received, the one on one help and attention. It was so powerful to arrive at the second island in the Galapagos and trying to put my bags out of the water taxi, from a ferry, and having somebody say, "Hi Cyra, welcome, your taxi is waiting.".Everybody was on time, it was organized and coordinated. It was a great price, a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Thank you.

Great trip! Colombia is a beautiful country and we were able to cover the main areas in 9 days. Could not visit Tayrona as it was closed during our visit. Tour company GuideEcuador was easy to deal with and communication was excellent via WhatsApp every step of the way. Good hotels and guides.

I gave this 4 stars because the entire Galapagos experience is so amazing. However, this tour is misrepresented as one of the other reviewers noted. Our 9-day tour was presented to us as "Fully Guided - An experienced guide will be with you for the entire trip." It also states that you will join this small group "and forge lifelong friendships." My husband and I had just finished a fully-guided small group tour (with a different tour company) through Ecuador mainland and we truly did have a guide with us 24/7 and we had a small group of 16 people that we traveled with for 8 days. This is NOT that type of tour. My husband & I were the only 2 on this 'tour' - which really isn't a tour but rather a guide in each island is responsible for explaining to you what to expect for those 1-2 days and may help you get to those tours/ferries/etc for which the operator made the reservations for. Some guides were excellent and helped us navigate airports, ferry lines, and tour boats. Others we saw 5-10 minutes upon arrival at the island and were told to ask the hotel lobby staff if we had any questions during our stay. Others sent a taxi driver - whom typically didn't speak English. This is definitely not a fully guided tour. You spend a lot of time on your own - which worked OK for us but certainly not what we expected.

In the Galapagos Islands many excursions and visitor sites operate with local certified naturalist guides assigned per island and per excursion in accordance with Galapagos National Park regulations. We understand that the wording of “fully guided” may have created a different expectation, especially compared to traditional escorted group tours, and we truly appreciate your comments as they help us improve how we present our programs and services. The tour was quite informative. We learned a lot about the culture and history of Colombia. There were also some very interesting and fun excursions to the countryside. All the guides, with one exception, were very experienced and knowledgeable. Most of the hotels were basic, some with very small rooms and one with no hot water. The food was quite good although our inability to speak Spanish made some interactions with locals difficult at times. I felt like this was a country that was just starting to learn the intricacies of hosting tourists. I would recommend this tour for the curious traveller with a fondness for adventure and learning.

Very well organized itinerary and attention to details with our guides . Accommodation was unique and comfortable. Guides were very helpful and friendly . Would definitely recommend this tour to others as it covered more than 2/3 of the country .

Travel today apparently is impossible without a smart phone. Even though I just happened to have mine with me, the transfer fee was the best $70.00 I've spent in my life. Joshua Santa Maria knew how to to all that stuff--take a screenshot of my passport photo, forward it to the authorities to get a temporary visa and the declaration, etc. This was needed at several stops along the way. The people on San Crostobal apparently alerted the people on Santa Cruz that I had a hearing problem so my host made it a point to talk loud the whole time. Edison was a great guide for the diving. Beside the care from the people involved the experience itself was all I bargained for.

Good tours, good hotels, good transport and good communication. I was the only the only guest on a 7-day tour in February but tour dates were coincident with Ecuadorian national holiday aka "Carnival" so I had a good time partying with the locals.
