I had the most amazing time in Uganda accompanied by Rogers. He is a very friendly tour guide with great knowledge about his country. Charity was also very helpful prior and throughout the trip. We spotted the big 5 already in Murchison Falls NP in addition to lots of other animals. We were lucky to find tree climbing lions in Ishasha, which turned out to be one of my favourite moments. The chimp trekking and gorilla trekking were also great. I really recommend this tour.

A Truly Unforgettable Experience with Mukisa Safaris – More Than Just a Tour Company! I rarely write reviews, but Mukisa Safaris Uganda and the incredible people behind it absolutely deserve one. From the very beginning, the owner, Richard, stood out. I researched 10 tour companies and I’m so glad I picked Mukisa Safaris. He was incredibly responsive—seriously, I don’t think he sleeps! I had a lot of questions (I mean a lot), and he was endlessly patient and helpful in answering every single one of them. No matter how many details I asked about, Richard was always there with a clear, thoughtful answer and genuine care. As a female solo traveler, I planned and customized a 13-day trip across Uganda and Rwanda, but Richard made the entire process seamless. I wanted a highly customized itinerary, including a visit to an orphanage—and Richard didn’t just help arrange it. He personally visited multiple orphanages himself beforehand to make sure everything was genuine, safe, and aligned with my intentions. He even joined us during the visit to help and support. That kind of dedication is rare and deeply appreciated. My guides, Bridget and Uncle John, became like family to me. Uncle John was the kindest, most patient driver—even though we were on the road for 5 to 8 hours almost every day. Bridget was an absolute gem—always cheerful, always professional, and such a warm, wonderful presence throughout the journey. Despite how intense my schedule was (and I customized it to the max!), they both kept smiling and gave it their all every single day. Not once did I feel unsafe. Not once did I feel like just a tourist. Mukisa made me feel welcomed, cared for, and genuinely part of something special. When I was dropped off at the airport to go back home, I truly felt sad—it felt like I was leaving behind friends, not just a tour team. If you're looking for a company that goes above and beyond, treats you like a human and not a customer, and makes your trip unforgettable, I can't recommend Mukisa Safaris enough. Thank you, Richard, Bridget, and Uncle John—for making this one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.
