It’s still a tumultuous time for international travel, but in mid-October, TSA reported<\/a> over one million fliers were screened on one day \u2014 more than ten times the numbers seen in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TourRadar<\/a> recently saw a similar increase of 246% in bookings in October compared to earlier this year in April. Traveller numbers are still well below those of last year, but we\u2019re slowly approaching an upward trend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 2020 winding down, and after months of staying indoors, Americans are eager to get out and explore the world again in 2021 as safely as possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TourRadar recently dug into their user data to find out which U.S. states (+ Washington D.C.) per capita are still touring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevada tops the list as the most eager state to get touring again, followed by Colorado, Florida, California, and New York. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At bottom of the list, we have Delaware, Vermont, West Virginia, and South Dakota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create this ‘Top U.S. States Still Touring’ list, we calculated tours booked through TourRadar\u2019s platform after April 1st, 2020 by U.S. state (plus Washington D.C.).
