The Felucca Odyssey tour was fantastic - informative, fun, action packed, lots of things to see and do,Sam (our guide) was very knowledgeable and fun. It was one of the best trips of my life and I would recommend it with all my heart!
Though was expecting a bit of a rough and ready experience with TT, I was pleasantly surprised. From being collected at the airport (included) through the hotels (3*/4*), a bit "Bagpuss" (a bit tatty around the edges but still loved) to the coach, same mad driver all the way, TT exceeded expectations. An excellent guide in the shape of Talat whose knowledge, enthusiasm, wit and charm were second to none and opened up this country in the way a dry rendition of the facts could never do. In addition he got the entire party an upgrade rather than split up the group on our return to Amman after the intended hotel could not offer to accommodate everyone. Frustratingly though the site visits tended to be a bit shortly than expected (advertised), a full day in Petra about half that due to a midday arrival from Wadi Rum and a trip to the castle at Kerak missed out altogether due to "too many people in the town". That said I would still recommend TT for a cheap cheerful and fun alternative to the flash tours.
Our tour leader was the best, she was very knowledgeable about Croatia and took us to some amazing restaurants, bars and clubs. The boat was awesome, so spacious and the crew looked after us very well and cooked some delicious meals. The price was reasonable for everything that was included. I would definitely recommend Travel Talk for sailing Croatia.
This being my first escorted tour I must say I had a fantastic experience! Their website is great and very informative. Transfers to and from the airport were provided, hotels were 4-5 star, awesome ground transportation from (very clean and comfortable) coaches and mini buses. Only thing keeping transportation from being 5 stars is the overnight train! Sleeper train should be included! Our guide was awesome! The itinerary was exactly as described and we spent sufficient time in most spots. The Nile cruise aboard a ship was the highlight of this trip! I would do more tours with Travel Talk in the future!
