With Dan deployed to the Austrian Front, Morzine Barracks was left in the capable hands of Aydin & Chris (yeah it was).
Troop morale was buoyed with lively banter, a surfeit of food and drink and full use of the hot tub time machine.
Regular mountain sorties and late night skirmishes with the locals tested the HOFNAR team to the limit, but it was unwavering in its resolve. Well done lads, see you next year!

Best snowboarding week i've ever had. Dan and Sam show the best hospitality of any ski chalet, serve amazing meals and also guide you all over the ski resort. You feel like a member of the family!

Snowboarding trip last week of January. Great chalet, great location, great hosts, brilliant group of skiers & boarders. Outdoor hot-tub :)
Lucky with the snow as well.
Really excellent week. Definitely recommend, and hope to go back!

All Together an amazing holiday experience! The Mountain's were in great shape! The Guiding was really varied.
Chalet Skade is in a fantastic spot and you have the Hot tub views of Morzine Village and the Moutains!
The food and entertainment was really good and great value for money!
Great for people travelling alone!

I cannot wait to return for another H.O.F.N.A.R experience!! Travelling by yourself, hostels and new people can sometimes be a LOT overwhellming but from the first minute, Chalet Skade was like a home away from home (if only I had a cozy fireplace, hot tub and sauna!!) There was certainly no shortage of good food, good rosẻ and good company. All this, topped with a great host made this trip very memorable. Morzine offers a fun nigtlife with more bars and restaurants than you'll ever need. As for the skiing, if you're in search of a place where you can find new runs every day for 2 weeks, look no further than Portes du Soleil - where you can ski (or board) from France to Switzerland for lunch and back again, all in one day. Thanks again to Dan and the H.O.F.N.A.R Experience for making this.... well, an experience! I would without any reservations recommend H.O.F.N.A.R to anyone thinking about a ski trip.

Dan is the man - he goes out of his way to help make your stay run smoothly. If you let him he will ply you with more great chalet food, drink and cheesy one-liners than you can handle.. Morzine is lively, with events going on in the square. If you are offered Tartiflette to celebrate Olympic victories, go easy on it. Also enjoyed watching an ice-hockey game.
Even in late season with record low snow, the Portes Du Soleil region provided plenty of varied action for the experienced snowboarder. The pistes were carefully maintained to make the most of the last snow.
