Sabrina "This pass has got to be the easiest way there is to enjoy Vietnam. My guide, Vu, was an incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable Vietnamese citizen. It is more structured than the Stray trip I did previously in New Zealand, but some of that structure is necessary because of the language and cultural barrier. Having Vu with us made the need for planning and stress over being a "fish out of wate..."

Did the Dong pass and had a great time exploring Vietnam. Our guide Long was amazing, super nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and taken care of. He had great recommendations and helped me book some activities not provided by stray. Thanks Long!

A good bustrip with a very sweet guide to help us. Sometimes very long bus hours.

Thank you for your review! Yes the bus trips can get tiring with Vietnam being such a long country. We hope you got the chance to hop off and relax at some of our great Vietnam destinations like Bai Xep or Hoi An!

Our guide Was great helped us every Day to get a 5 People room. The booked activities were also great. We got help to book a Tour to Sapa, but Unfortunatel I become, and then our guide helped us to cancel our Tour. The People on the bus were Nice as well. We're going to miss our Guide Long the Dragon and his magical laugh.

We had a great trip except from that the weather was i bit bad. Our acomodation was good and was pretty cheap. Our guide, long was great at healping us getting tours booked and even helped us get some refund because of sickness after he had travelled back home to his family.

I booked the stray tour because I'm a first time traveller and the thought of travelling in reliable transport with a tour guide was extremely comforting. A special mention to Little Tiger and her trainee tour guides Phi and Pinky- I hopped on with them at Hoi An and they've made the end of my journey through Vietnam unforgettable. They recommended local food to try and local drinks (egg coffee!!) and it was always yummy. They answered all the questions- about activites to do, places to see and general questions about vietnamese culture- to utmost satisfaction. I was even added to a Facebook group to view the photos they'd taken of us along the way. I really felt like part of a group. The accommodation was always great. There were incredible views in Nimh Binh, the showers in Bai Xep were beautiful, and for those days when I just wanted to chill out and enjoy the sun, there were pools in Hoi An and Phong Nha. The rooms were always very clean, and reception were always friendly and willing to point us in the right direction. Finally, travelling on the bus from the South to the North of Vietnam was very comfortable, air conned and spacious. Our driver was excellent too. All in all, a big thank you to Stray for making my month in Vietnam the best experience.

I had an amazing time in Vietnam with the Stray team. The tour took us to the best places in Vietnam and our tour leaders were super dedicated. The hop on hop off feature was a great way to get to enjoy the places you like best without having to plan all your stops on your own. The Stray team has all the logistics worked out to make it a seamless experience. Vu, our tour guide, went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience. I can't recommend the tour enough!

The Dong Pass is a great way to see Vietnam, especially the beautiful scenery. Our tour guide Long was wonderful and it was nice to have someone there to answer questions! The bus was very nice. The brochure suggested that some of the accommodation was included in the price and booked in advance. In one place the usual hotel was full so we went to an unfinished hotel above a very noisy bar!

It is more structured than the Stray trip I did previously in New Zealand, but some of that structure is necessary because of the language and cultural barrier. Having Vu with us made the need for planning and stress over being a "fish out of water" nearly nonexistant. Fantastic trip! I do wish that I was able to take more advantage of the hop-on/hop-off feature, but I didn't allocate enough time. I'll just have to come back!
