My husband and i really enjoyed the Serengeti Trail. Our tour guide, David, was brilliant. He was extremely knowledgable, very friendly and kept everyone organised. Everyone on the group got on really well and this made the trip even more enjoyable. The camps we stayed in were basic but exactly what we expected. The food was good although we would have liked to have tried some more traditional African dishes. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the tour was participatory and that we all got involved in setting up the camp, cooking and cleaning. this got everyone interacting and helped the group bond.
The tour bus we were on for the week, was not the most comfortable ride. it was an old bus and was not in very good condition, with bits coming undone throughout the week. By the time our journey was over, some of the panels were held on by rope!! However, the driver, Alex, was a very good driver and ensured we were all kept safe.
overall, our journey with intrepid into the Serengeti and to the Ngorongoro Crater was a totally amazing experience. There were many highlights and no low points. We would definitely travel with intrepid again.

Amazing tour! Had an absolute blast, there is nothing like sleeping under the stars in the middle of the Serengeti. Food can not be beat! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to go on safari.

If you are looking for a safari and OK to take a break from the creature comforts, this is the trip to take! From watching the sunset over Lake Victoria to listening to lions roar from our tent in the Serengeti, this was definitely a trip I will not soon forget.
