Mummies and Pharaohs was the family holiday adventure of a lifetime. We had so many wonderful, unique experiences in the one trip - ancient history and amazing monuments, picturesque landscapes, experiencing a new culture...not to mention camel rides, hot air ballooning, horse and carriage rides, sleeping on an overnight train, sailing in a felucca, enjoying a cruise ship on the river nile, fancy dress galas, cartouche necklaces and meeting great people. There was a terrific swimming pool wherever we stayed, which meant on many afternoons we could unwind with a drink by the pool while the kids splashed about. Leisure and learning all in the one holiday!
We will never forget this experience, and our kids adored our tour guide, Ahmed, who really helped to make it such a wonderful holiday.
