One of the best experiences ever, a really long trip, but you do wish it would go longer. I'm writing about my experience on this tour on my blog here http://lonexplorer.com.au/category/topdeck/ check it out...

I absolutely loved this tour for someone traveling on their own it was perfect. I met amazing people, it was soo stress free and I learnt so much along the way. I went to so many places I would have never gone on my own. The accommodation, food and optional activities were fantastic I would highly recommend this tour to other people.

The absoloute best thing I have ever done!! Brilliant tour leader and driver (vicky & frenchy), amazing food & great accommodation for money spent!! I would advise everyone who's hitting Europe for the first time (or just in for a great time) to do this trip! 7 weeks was a great length of time, it really gives you time to see everything and really bond with the group, plus as its a longer trip there was a smaller group (bonus!). Ahh i can't brag about this trip enough, BEST THING EVER! So much fun, so many amazing memories made. Can I do this trip again, please??

This was an absolutely amazing trip! 49 days of, what I thought was, an unforgettable way to see Europe! You really get a taste for what places you loved and which ones you don't need to go back to. There wasn't a single place I disliked or hated in any way. A few things that I would have liked to know before I left: 1. Is 49 days too long? - No, it's long, yes... you get tired.. yes.. but. It is so worth it! The bus becomes your best and worst friend because it is when you get to sleep the most! If it wasn't 49 days.. we would have missed eastern europe.. and I absolutely LOVED Eastern Europe. 2. Is it hard to sleep on the bus? - Yes and no... if you can't sleep well.. you chat alot to the people around you. But a few things to bring to help you sleep... a sleeping bag, decent pillow and an Ipod... 3. How is the food? - The meals cooked by topdeck chefs were amazing!!! The included meals were good, usually authentic food so you really got to try out local stuff! (Note: take fruits and spreads from breakfast... they come in handy on the buses!) 4. Ratio of guys to girls? - We had about 4 different tours combined into one... one ended at 15 days, one ended at 25 days and one started at 31 days.. then there was ours (49).. At any given time we had about 3/4 girls and 1/4 guys.. but we heard other tours had closeto 50/50 so its not bad at all! Good mix 5. Average age? - Our average age was about 25-26 or so which was perfect. people aging from 18-35+ but a great mix of ages. most people got along really well. Honestly.. this trip was absolutely fantastic! Dont miss out on anything by taking this tour! Our bus driver was so knowledgeable, our bus driver was fantastic and they all truly care about your welbeing and making sure that you have a great time!

This trip was ammmazing.. We were the Nailer's and we nailed Europe in every sense of the word. I saw everything, and more than I ever thought possible.. I made friends that will last a lifetime, as well as created memories that would not have been created without Topdeck. These guys know what they are doing and what to see.. There is nothing we missed out on, or if we wanted to see it, they ensured we knew how. We had the best cook, who made sure we had enough energy to get through 49 days of sightseeing. We had a tour leader who I must say must be the best! Go Cornie! She knew her history, never got us lost so we didn't waste any time, was there when we got homesick, joined us for a drink or two ( should I say many) and was just so genuine.. Overall this Trip was one I will treasure and will recommend to all.. Just do it.. you will not regret it. Thank you Big Z, Bernsey and Aleria..

49 Days, Europe, Camping. bus load of new people, what have i done!!!! "Epic" was the Buzzword for out trip and Awesome. Having experienced a ten day Hostel trip the year before (European Escape) which was a culture shock for a relatively quite guy at times like myself i new the basics of what was in store. I didn't have worries of what's the bus going to be like or would i make friends as i'd learnt on my previous one that you do. The hard part was trying to remember all the names flying apart and not try and fit in just to chill out and let the buzz swallow you up. Having decided that if i was going to do Europe again i wanted to do a lot of it, then following travels could be outside the Euro Zone. My Camping experiences were limited to one night in a rubbish old tent 5 guys crammed into it hiding from the rain and cold and a grumpy attitude by all, so i was a little apprehensive about it for so many days. Again i was a convert, camping's great. Even tho we had a lot of weird weather with so much rain and cold days when it should generally be nicer at that time of year it all added to the experience. A few upgrades here and there as-well as being able to upgrade ourselves at times got us out the rain to dry of at times. hostels-cabins-budget hotels- were great. Yes we moaned to each other at times about this and that, then you think what you paid for the trip and the amount of places you went to, the sailing, great food, guides and easiness of getting to each place and you just couldn't do it on your own in that time scale. All hanging round camp at night having a bottle of wine and chatting were some of the best experiences of the 49 days for myself. putting me out my comfort zone and meeting all these people from South America, Oz, Nz travelling with you not to mention the folk you get chatting to in Hostels and camps. We Had Callimocho In Barcelona, snails in Paris, gorgeous street kebab in Istanbul, got rained out from camping in Venice, roasted in Athens (admittedly those not from UK were more used to it and i was just a pile of sweat) Sailed through stormy weather and Sunbathed on the boats the next day and watched the World Cup in Locations such as Krakow and Prague. I wouldn't say it was a Holiday, it was Travelling on a Budget and to a tight Time Scale. We saw stunning sight's all round, felt solemn and privileged to be doing what we were doing after visiting Auschwitz. Had some more moments like that around the trip learning about the past from our Trip leader and other guides (yea some guides are a lot better than others but thats to be expected) Terror Museum in Budapest, the Sarajevo Roses, Mostar Bridge that was rebuilt and which 4 of our group jumped the 21 meteres or so - depending on who you ask, into the water below. (its ok you pay to do it, certificate and lifeguard inc in price) Mega Trip, Epic Journey, - i'd do it again Tomorrow if i could. Actually some that did half the trip to Athens or Istanbul are wanting to do the second half on their nest visit back to Europe.
