Adventure North operate 4wd Adventure tours from Cairns and Port Douglas to historic Cooktown, Tropical North Queensland. Cooktown is one of Australia's most exciting new destinations. Our Cooktown tours offer diverse scenery, travelling on one of Australia's most scenic coastal drives from Cairns and Port Douglas along the Daintree Coast through Cape Tribulation where the Great Barrier Reef meets the rainforest, one of very few places in the world where two World Heritage areas exist side by side. Return journey is via the Outback of Far North Queensland. Our experienced, professional and friendly driver-guides have incredible enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of North Queensland. The Bama Way (pronounced Bumma) which means person regardless of color or race, links Kuku Yalanji Cultural Habitat Tours, Walker Family Tours and the award winning Aboriginal Elder, Wilfred (Willie) Gordon of Guurrbi Tours.

The tours are operated by the traditional custodians of the local area, showing different facets of Aboriginal culture. The tours take place on the Bama Way, an Aboriginal journey through Tropical North Queensland, from Cairns and Port Douglas to north of Cooktown following storylines through the two Aboriginal nations.
