You get to experience every climate(sub 20 deg in Northern Alaska, to 40+ deg in Mexico), visit great places (Yellowstone, Machu Picchu, Perito Moreno Glacier, Iguazu Falls, Chicken, Tikal, are just a few!) in the best trucks on the road. I'll by flying into BA via Copenhagen and Newark on August 4th and then departing Lima on sept 14th. I haven't booked a hostel in Lima either, but found 2 in Mira Flores that I like. Haven't decided on a hostel in BA either, the hostel oasis recomends is aparently not good for sleeping..."
