Nullarbor Traveller 10 Day Adelaide To Perth Wildlife Experience , 18th October 2011

Reviewed 9th November 2011
Why would you drive the Nullarbor when you can go with Nullarbor Traveller? Our family of 4 had a blast on our tour and saw so much more than if we had just driven ourselves. Craig, our guide was the ultimate tour guide, and his knowledge and obvious love of his job was appreciated by all of us on board. Thanks Craig so much. The highlights would have been the surfing lessons (awesome!), Koonalda Station (sorry about the dunny door guys!), the ocean mist & views from the Head of Bight, sleeping under the stars at Warren Gorge on a perfect night, the kangas at Lucky Bay and all the cool signage along the way! The wombat rescue at Ceduna was also a treat and we hope it will be a permanent addition to the intinerary. The camping was good, despite having some blah weather, the swags surprisingly comfortable and it was great to have a couple of nights at Coodlie Park Farm and meet the other tour bus. (and see the wombats going down holes!) The food was yummy, and Craig was very challenged with 2 bizarre food allergies on board that he had to cope with! Thanks to Jo & Hassie, the owners, for everything, every Aussie should do this tour and see the real Australia! Thank you also for making our girls so welcome and having no problems about taking them on your tour. They will never forget it, and neither will their Mum & Dad! Cheers Stan, Shelley, Skye and Jade Sypko

Nullarbor Traveller Perth to Adelaide, 9th January 2011

There were so many different people on the tour, but despite this we all had a fab time. Craig had a key part to play in this by trying to get everybody involved throughout the trip. Despite our group only being Craig's second tour, he was able to give us a lot of information about the places we visited, whilst also making the journey fun at the same time. The best part of the trip for me was firstly Lucky Bay, which is just so beautiful, but it was just a shame that the weather was not any better. The second best part was the bus breaking down within a couple of hours of setting off. Craig managed the situation brilliantly whilst organising with Hassie another bus. Also in true, friendly Australian style, a local farmer collected the whole group and drove us all to his house so that we could use his pool (this would so not happen in the UK). Within a few hours we were on another bus, and as a bonus we got to spend the night at Wave Rock! I cannot praise this tour (and tour guide) enough. If you guys ever do anymore tours around Australia, when I next visit I would definitely want to go with you again. I would also recommend to people to try the Nullarbor even if you are scared of sleeping in a swag! It is the most amazing experience, and actually really very comfortable. Thank you Craig for being a great tour guide, and with showing us such a vast and beautiful part of your country. Kim Kennedy

Nullarbor Traveller Perth to Adelaide, 21st November 2010

Tim met us on time and made me feel welcome from the first. He was full of enthusiasm and information and I knew I would enjoy the trip. I had slept in swags before but not for as long a period so was looking forward to enjoying more night skies. Every place we went had something different about it, then we came to 'Lucky Bay'. I was totally gobsmacked. I had never seen anything so beautiful. I nearly cried, and I don't do tears! The weather deteriorated a little after this so we weren't able to enjoy some of the places or scenery as much as we would have liked but none the less the swimming with wild dolphins and sea lions was just magic. Sandboarding and I had a bit of a disagreement and I carried the scars around for a while so I didn't join in the surf lesson but the others enjoyed it. The swimming with Tuna was different and the guy who took us out to them was extemely knowledgable and interesting. All in all it was a great trip and I would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks Hassie and Tim. Sue

Nullarbor Traveller 10 Day Adelaide To Perth Wildlife Experience , 10th March 2010

I decided to do this trip because it sounded so different from other holidays I'd had previously.Viva la Differance! From the pick up in Adelaide the group of 10 from all over the world just melded into a freindly and adventurous bunch looking for fun. Our tour guide Jo definitely helped this atmosphere along with her laid back and freindly albeit knowledgable and professional attitude. From camel riding to camping out in the desert, treking great landscapes to climbing some inspirational ascents, each experience was new and different from the last. Swimming with dolphins and seals was such an enjoyable and memorable experience, it is a real highlight for me. Anyone from 15 to 65 who is reasonably fit and loves fun and adventure should really take advantage of the great value for money this trip offers. Thanks Jo and Hassie for your warm hospitality and good luck with your future vision for Coodlie Park. Howie from Noosa

My personal favourite highlight of the tour was Lucky Bay in Western Australia! Lonely, white white beach and Roos are your new neighbours. I had a group of 11 people and they have been a good mix - ages from 18-60 and different nationalities. You should try the swimming with sea lions and dolphins - incredible experience!! ...not forgetting the surf lessons - FUN!! The tour combines the uniqueness of the Nullarbor with exciting activities, well-trained guides and a lot of wildlife - a real adventure!
