G Adventures Kathmandu to Delhi Adventure, 29th April 2012

Reviewed 20th May 2012
Although this was my first trip to Nepal and India, I wasn't keen on traveling with a tour group. My son, who is a globe trotting travel agent, recommended G Adventure and the Kathmadnu to New Delhi trip. He felt it would give me the freedom to tour cities independently with the security of travelling with a group - and my family could breathe easy. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my tour mates were in their 20's and 30's (instead of being a geriatric group) and they were all warmly accepting of a somewhat immature oldie in their group. Our group ranged from 21 to my 56, and we were family by the end of the trip. I feel in travelling with G Adventure, I made lifetime freinds as well as seeing a fascinating part of the world. What can I say about Bhu, our fearless tour leasder? Amazing, hysterically funny, intuitive and a load of fun to travel with. He seemed to instictively understand when the group needed some down time and when we were raring to go. His jokes and magic tricks kept us in stitches. He always seemed to know who to call, where to go and how to do it. The itinerary was a great blend of comfort and "experience", sight seeing and just chilling, city and rural. The entire experience left all of us wanting more. I am already planning my next trip with G Adventure!

This tour was beyond anything I thought - it was absolutely amazing! The route we took and things we saw were incredible and there were lovely people with us. The tour guides were second to none and made the trip excellent! Do not hesitate, its worth every penny!

G Adventures Amalfi Coast Local Living, 21st April 2012

Reviewed 2nd May 2012
Must be ready for some serious stair work. 135 just to start the day getting off the property. This is not for rookie hikers, but at the end of each day of trekking, we all felt pretty proud of our accomplishment. Tour must add/include transport back to Naples.

G Adventures Costa Rica Kayaking Adventure, 7th April 2012

Reviewed 17th April 2012
My Kayaking adventure was a 5 star overall. We had a fabulous guide who knew his country very well and obviously loved it very much. We were given lots of time to do what we wanted to do for the tour and rest time if we so wished. The tour was well planned and organized. The slight downside was the accommodations, the first San Jose hotel was not that nice and in a bad part of town. The hotel in La Fortuna was without A/C or a fan until we begged for them. I would have been happy if we had a window but there were either no windows or they did not open depending on what room you were assigned. The food was plentiful when at buffets, the selection very good. When we were on our own for a meal we were always given lots of options for places to go depending on how much you wanted to spend and what your preferences were. Even our Vegan travelers always found something to eat. The Kayaking part of the trip could have been longer but we got what we signed up for (and a bit more). That is just a wish for G Adventures to change the trip so it's more kayaking....not a slight on the current trip. The people I met on the trip were fabulous, a more wonderful group to travel with I cannot imagine! Thank you G Adventures for the experience.

G Adventures Dunes, Deltas and Falls, 17th February 2012

It was a great experience overview South Africa by overland truck. Camping area was clean and mattress is quite comfy. Our CEO was there to assist with questions and planning a varieties of meals even for vegetarians. They are hard workers and fun as well! You can upgrade to a private room when possible and within reasonable price. Could have spent more times with the locals and experience their culture. Lots of activities to do from skydiving, canoeing, bungy jumping...not a time to get bored. Our group consist of people from 19-50's years young. Would recommend this trip to anyone!

Awesome tour!! We had the best CEO, Nadya, such a sweet girl and always willing to help in anything, 10 +++ to her! She wa always there if needed and gave lots of ideas what to do, where etc.. Excellent job!! The tour was like I thought it would be, lots of different interesting places, great group and certainly authentic experience of Cuba, no wonder why it is a top seller. The windows of the bus werent on good condition. When traveling so much in bus it would have been nice to be able to look trough the windows. All casas which I stayed were great but the hotel Plaza in Havana wasnt nice, dirty rooms, not certainly a 4 star hotel as it is, rather 2 stars. Cheers!:-)
