Excellent trip - despite the weather Belgium and France organised for us! Very informative guides, one of the best ANZAC dawn services I have been too!! Accommodation and location of hotel excellent. Also the company organised to visit my relatives grave- much appreciated and would recommend doing this tour to any Australian or Kiwi.

First Festival Travel La Tomatina - Budget Tomato fight - 4 days, 1st September 2011

Reviewed 6th September 2011
I had an absolutely amazing time at La Tomatina and the Wine and Water Festival. Doing it with First Festival gave the opportunity to meet many many wonderful people. Retrospectively I probably could have found a cheaper way to get to/from Tomatina but I would recommend First Festival to my family/friends as the organization and helpfullness of the team and transportation/central location arranged for the group were great. thanks

First Festival Travel Pamplona 6 Day Basic Coach Tour, 4th July 2011

Reviewed 22nd August 2011
I was absolutely guttered with the FFT staff and communication. There was no clear warning that we would not be provided with bedding or pillows except that we needed sleeping bags. We therefore slept on the ground in a tent using our bags as pillows for a week. Although the tour guide was nice, she didn't realise you don't have to yell when using a microphone and didn't offer anymore information other than what times we needed to be where. The bus drivers where absolutely appalling - very unprofessional. Although I understand they were not actually part of the FFT crew, they were still being hired though FFT and should have behaved to represent the company. The 22 hour bus ride was probably the worst thing i have even gone through - almost the entire bus wanted to sleep at some point during the night, yet there was very loud music or movies going the whole night. I am only 22 and enjoy parties etc but it got to the point where everyone was trying to sleep yet nobody could because of the music or movies. The guide was trying to keep everyone happy by keeping the music or movies going yet it made everyone more angry right from day 1. This of course was repeated on the 22 hour journey home - something we were dreading the entire week. Frankly, I would expect much more from a Kiwi crew however they seem to have happily dropped to the lower standards of customer service expected in England. Even when you go into the office they hardly bat an eyelid and seem more interested in the Facebook conversation going on on their computer. Unfortunately we already had Oktoberfest booked prior to the San Fermin trip however I luckily got out of it before hand. I am now very happy I am not travelling again with FFT. My friend can't however get out of her ticket and the other two people we were travelling with are dreading the fact they need to travel again with FFT - they only are as they have already paid and can't get the money back otherwise they would definitely be changing to a far superior travel crew such as TopDeck or Contiki (absolutely worth the extra money!).

Everything about this tour was great! Our tour leader Ben definitely made the week an interesting one. Our bus trip there was a great start to the week, a massive bus party so everyone got to know everyone else. First Festival were so good i've already booked my next tour with them!! Bring on Oktoberfest!!

First Festival Travel Pamplona - 8 Day Runners Coach Tour, 3rd July 2011

Reviewed 22nd July 2011
well the pamplona trip started at the raven, drinking booze everyone was cravin. the trip when underway, took all night and day. with a bunch characters on bus 1, omg it was so much fun. with a group of mainly aussie lads and lasses, the bus even involved a few random pashes. the tour guide, now wasnt he a champion to have along for the ride. many laughs were had on the bus to spain, im glad i didnt catch the train. our campsite now it wasnt a 5 star hotel, but we were all pissed and didnt care where we fell. the san fermin festival was absolutely great, we made many a friend and many a mate. sangaria was totally abused and when offered to u, u couldnt refuse. by the end of the festival we were all soaked in liquid red, and the next morning many people had a sore head. but up and addam we all got, for this will be the day, we run with the bulls and chant, clap and yell ola. no injuries worth noting were suffered by our crew, oh actually there were some scratches, grazes and marks, just to add a few. during the pamplona trip the alcohol flowed it seemed only to stop, when u were so fucked up u had to drop. with a week of this and so many ham and cheese rolls, by saturday when we left there were some tired and weiry souls. the only sad part of the whole trip we left our tour guide in calais, there in france the man would have to spend his 30th birthday. so to all the people on bus 1 best wishes and i hope u find everything u seek, but if not u always have the memory of GET IN THE CREEK!
