Awesome trek in Langtang
Thanks for an awesome trek! The trek was well designed and I felt looked after the whole way, especially the couple of days I wasn't feeling well. Gyanu was a particularly good guide because he knew the area well and he did things like check out the kitchens. Porters Goddesh and Zeeon were very helpful. Overall, nothing was a hassle and I highly recommend Langtang trek for those who want to avoid the crowds.

All in all, a great experience with ACE
We spent two and a half weeks hiking from Jiri to Everest Base Camp with guide Gyanu and porter Manoj and had a terrific experience. Gyanu was professional, experienced, and good company on the trail. He did a great job of being flexible (we changed our itinerary several times and he was very accommodating) and of making sure we were having the experience we wanted (from picking good lodges en route to scouting out fresh chicken when we were growing weary of dal bhaat to using his previous experience as a cook to make some terrific momos). His years of experience also meant he could answer any question - from Nepali politics to mountain naming to the local liquor to which lodge has good pizza. Manoj was equally good company, with a humorous charm and was eager to practice his developing English and guiding skills - we have no doubt he is on his way to becoming a great young guide. When we head to the Himalayas again, we would happy to go with Gyanu and Manoj. As to the Jiri to Everest itinerary, we enjoyed having the experience of the week from Jiri to Lukla to get our trail legs and see some much quieter, less trekker-focused villages. We particularly liked Junbesi and Khari Khola. We might make one change: taking two days instead of one to walk from Jiri to Bhandar. We also enjoyed the Lukla to Everest base camp portion with it's spectacular views. Unfortunately, due to weather we did not go through Cho La pass to Gokyo so we will have to return to visit that area.

Experience of a Lifetime
The service provided by Ace the Himalaya was fantastic during my EBC trek and allowed me to make the most of my Himalaya experience, it will stay with me forever. I would like to think I have made a friend in Raj who was our Head Guide and I hope to return some day and complete a different trek. Itinerary, Travel & Accommodation were all of a much higher standard than I had anticipated and great credit must go to ACE were the first company I looked at and that is exactly where I would rank them. I genuinely would like to thank you and the team for making my trip the experience of a lifetime and I do hope to return someday and take part in a different trek.

A well organized team!
Many thanks Prem & the team for looking after me on this challenging trek. The first problem was flying to Lukla with the unseasonal bad weather which cancelled so many flights. But your people looked after me & with while hundreds of people were waiting at Kathmandu, managed to get me on a flight. On the trek itself, Pasang & the 2 porters (Dava & Rindi) certainly looked after me. Whenever the path looked dangerous, Pasang always made sure that I got through the obstacle safely. On the snow itself, Pasang vigorously checked crampons, harness etc to make sure that all was working ok. A well organized team!

Thank-you very much for your help
I am writing in trip advisor in the aftermath of my trip to commend the services of ACE employees. Both my guide, Milon, and my Porter, Ame, were very friendly, helpful and professional in their work. Ame was a strong walker and always ensured that my bag got to my destination before I did! He was also friendly and polite and did a very good job. Milon was a very knowledgeable guide who always gave me information regarding the mountains, our route and journey, the local culture, and Nepali history. He was very thorough and diligent in his duties, ensuring that I had everything that I needed, always asking questions for me and helping me when i was unsure or uncertain about anything. He would always make sure that I had enough food and drink, and at the right time, or that I was warm enough. On the treks he would allow me to go at the pace which I wanted, and checked to see if I was coping with the altitude. He was very professional, ensuring that I had the best possible experience whilst trekking in Nepal. Most of all he was extremely kind and friendly- he allowed me to borrow his phone if mine did not have signal, and he was always ready to have conversations or to sit by me if i was eating alone. He had a good sense of humour and always ensured that I felt comfortable. He also handled our delay in Lukla very well, informing me of our options, making sure that we got to the airport on time, and getting me a better room for the last night. I would like to commend and thank him in the highest possible terms.

"A dream come true"
I engaged Ace the Himalaya to organise my Everest Base Camp trek, white water rafting and safari through Chitwan National Park from a remote location in India whilst leading an adventure expedition. I arrived at Kathmandu airport to be greeted with garlands and driver form this point I knew I was with an organisation that I could trust. The various guides and porters throughout my three week adventure were knowledgeable and friendly but most of all organised. My journey throughout Nepal would not have been the same if I had decided not use Ace the Himalaya as it was seamless and I would recommend anyone who is considering an adventure in Nepal to look no further for an unforgettable experience.

Trip of Lifetime
I justed wanted to say that I have arrived safely back in Australia after having a wondeful time in Nepal. I am already missing Nepal and can't wait to return and spend more time with you guys. Prem Khatri, thank you for looking after us all whilst in Nepal. Your professionalism and dedication to your company ensures that all clients are able to enjoy themselves fully and not have to worry about a thing. I am extremelly happy that I chose Ace The Himalaya because everything was so professional and well organised. You certainly know how to make people want to return to your country. The people and places that we encountered while on you tour were fantastic and it is obivious to me that you take a lot of pride in your team of porters and guides as everyone (including those staff with other clients) would of assisted me if I needed help for anything. The places that you chose to stay have the best food and views and can't wait to visit some of these palces again. Prem Pandit, my friend, I want to thank you for all did for us on both tours. Your knowledge of the Himalayas and mountians ranges can't be argued with and when I return I will be very happy if you where to be my guide again. The information about food and wheather and anything you thought we should know was always 100% right and never once did we need to question you. It was a shame to see other trekking companies and their guides not have the level of knowledge that you alone have. I also thank you for your friendship on the track and all those games of cards and jokes we shared. We both spent time away from our loved ones and with your friendship, I did not miss them as much. Prem Khatri, I look very much to returning not only to the Himalays but I look forward to seeing Ghorka and helping you contribute into make your foundation a success. I will also be emailing you again with a plan of what I want to do next time I visit and I'm sure we can work out another great itinerary for me. To both of you who I now call my friends, I hope to speak again to you soon and look forward to your emails.

A well organised team
I had evaluated 4 different Nepalese trekking companies before I decided to do my trek with Ace, and I've never had any reason to regret my decision. From the time that I was picked up at the Kathmandu airport, and to the time that I was dropped off back again at the end of my trip, they were super-helpful, efficient and thoroughly professional. From helping me buy the trekking gear that I had not brought with me in Kathmandu, to being flexible enough to allow me to change my travel plans at the last moment because of an urgent meeting back home, they literally went above and beyond the call of duty in order to make my trek a truly memorable one. I must also say a few words about our lead trekking guide (Raj) and his 2 assistants - Durbha and Omar. Things don't always work according to plan at such altitudes, especially when you have to deal with sudden changes in the weather and other such things, but the 3 of them made sure that pretty much everything ran smoothly right throughout the trek. I remember the utter chaos at the domestic terminal in Kathmandu airport when we were trying to catch our flight to Lukla, but Raj made sure that we didn't have to be exposed to any of that chaos and shepherded us through it. In short, if you do decide to go with Ace, you'll find that you've made the right choice.
