Are you in Year 12 or 13 and thinking of applying for medicine? Our Sixth Form Special allows you to gain a full week of clinical work experience during your half-term break. The timing of this project in February is ideal for Year 13 students preparing for medical school interviews or those in Year 12 wanting an introduction to clinical medicine.

The placement price of just £790 includes a fully-supervised hospital placement, clinical teaching, safe and secure accommodation in our own students house, food, airport transfers in India, local orientations, 24/7 support from our teams in India and the UK and lots of help with preparations for your trip.
Once in India, you will spend five days shadowing highly skilled doctors in their day-to-day work, both on wards and in the operating theatre (depending on your exact placement). The particular doctor you are assigned to each day is your mentor – he or she will speak fluent English and provide on-the-go teaching about the different cases you encounter.
The great thing about our base in Jodhpur is that there is so much exciting stuff to do in your free time after placement. The Flying Fox zipline high above the old city is an absolute must for adrenaline junkies and you can even go camel trekking in the desert after work on Friday!
February is a low season for the travel industry so flights to India are relatively cheap, especially from the UK.
