Here you can go backpacking while visiting the Teotihuacan pyramids, go through the Xochimilco canals, experience a wrestling match or go to the World famous Aztec Stadium to experience a great soccer match.
Another great destination for backpacking in Mexico is Oaxaca, here you can go to the impressive Hierve el Agua petrified waterfalls, Mitla and Monte Alban ruins or just chill in the beautiful Colonial town.
San Cristobal. This beautiful colonial city is a backpacker favorite since there are lots of activities to do such as visiting the impressive Montebello Lakes, Chiflon waterfalls, San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan indigenous towns, the impressive Sumidero Canyon and if you feel adventurous you can go backpacking through the jungle into the Lacandon Jungle.
After San Cristobal we go backpacking in Mexico through a rough highway taking us to beautiful Agua Azul waterfalls, Misol-ha waterfalls and our first Mayan ruins in Palenque.
